StrictSEO is a local-first SEO and answer-engine optimization toolkit for people who need to see what is weak, understand why it matters, and verify the repair without being handed a mysterious score.
What makes StrictSEO different? It reports observable page, crawl, browser, and first-party Search Console evidence; labels heuristics as review prompts; and keeps backlinks, field experience, scheduled rank observations, and AI citations outside the report unless a real data source can support them.
Most reviews begin with one URL, not a project dashboard. A writer needs to know whether the answer is clear. A developer needs the conflicting directive or template pattern. A consultant needs a report another person can follow. StrictSEO puts those facts beside the page instead of requiring a project setup first.
The Chrome extension follows only the pages a user deliberately visits. The local browser adds saved bounded crawls, server responses, read-only Search Console opportunities and outcomes, Lighthouse reports, and automated accessibility checks. The public analyzer accepts pasted or uploaded HTML. All three interfaces use the same issue names and repair guides.

The extension can compare the pages reviewed in one temporary session for recurring issues and duplicate page signals. StrictSEO Browser adds a saved bounded same-origin crawl, HTTP and discovery evidence, Search Console page/query evidence, Lighthouse, and axe-core.
No single number combines those results. Composite scores hide tradeoffs: one accidental noindex directive can matter more than twenty cosmetic passes, while a content heuristic may require editorial judgment even when every technical test passes. The action plan therefore orders concrete blockers and high-confidence problems ahead of optional refinements, while preserving the underlying evidence.

Answer-engine optimization is the work of making a useful page easier for people and systems to understand, extract, and evaluate. That often means a direct response near the relevant heading, descriptive section labels, explicit definitions, evidence beside important claims, clear authorship, and a page structure that does not bury the answer. It does not mean adding invisible text, publishing a special AI-only file, or marking every paragraph as structured data.
StrictSEO treats AEO as an extension of sound search and content practice. Pages still need to be accessible, indexable, relevant, trustworthy, and satisfying. The tool can identify structures that may make an answer easier to extract, but it cannot promise an AI citation, featured snippet, or search ranking. Those outcomes are selected by external systems and must be measured externally.
After a change, rerun the same mechanism and verify the expected evidence.
